Medway Local Plan 2041 - Evidence Documents Consultation

Introduction

Independent planning inspectors, appointed to conduct the Medway Local Plan 2041 Examination, have asked Medway Council to carry out a further public consultation.

During the Phase 1 Hearings, Medway Council submitted several new evidential documents to the Examination that it refers to in support of the submitted Plan. These documents have not previously been available to all interested parties or consulted upon in relation to the Plan. These documents comprise various Statements of Common Ground and documents already submitted to the Examination.

Medway Council has been asked to carry out this consultation to ensure fairness to all interested parties and participants and provide openness and transparency in the process.

You can also submit representations by email: planning.policy@medway.gov.uk or by post: Medway Council, Planning Service, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham, ME4 4TR - stating the Examination Document Reference, e.g. 'MLP/ED24A'.

This consultation will close at 23:59 on 26 October 2026.
