Need to remember that a lot of people can’t use public transport for disability reasons, and therefore need to use private car. These polices make disabled people feel like pariahs and that needs to be factored it. Public transport doesn’t run 24/7 either, so negatively affects shift workers.

You can only prioritise Car joineries over public transport where you have an efficient, reliable, regular and integrated public transport system. This is not currently the case for Medway.

There should be a ransom strip, we don't want a built up area and the water and electricity supply has to be stretched. It's not good

Private car should be no 1, people in rural communities rely on cars and their independence and shouldn't be made to feel outcast from society. People with mobility issues rely on their own private cars and off street parking and drives should be incorporated in all designs. I thought it was an all inclusive society now? Seems you want to keep people in their own area and not venture out!

Agree with the hierachy. Flat dweller should have acess to allocated spaces only and no parking permits issued for public car parks except some clearly designated commuter areas.

In Allhallows, the lack of footpaths forces people to walk on the roads, which are too narrow and unsafe for cycling. Street parking is chaotic and dangerous, with Medway Council's recent attempt to address the issue by painting double yellow lines being ineffective due to lack of enforcement. Instead of tackling these problems, the council continues to approve more housing developments with even smaller driveways, worsening the already hazardous street parking situation. This approach only compounds the risks and fails to address the core issues of infrastructure inadequacy and road safety.

User hierarchy needs significant work to be achieved - significant gaps in walking, cycling and public transport networks are clear - particular tensions between brownfield low car developments and suburban growth. Existing urban settlements need to be considered where car dependency is built into Victorian Street networks.
Street design needs to also consider road collision reduction measures. There is an urgent need to reexamine organisational opposition to 20 MPH zones in suitable residential areas and other measures that reduce collision risk.
