We have had several waste sites made by Biffa over the years very near to Allhallows, we have also suffered pollution in the past from many industries at Grain. The air quality has been very bad on some days.

I believe that increasing recycling efforts and reducing overall waste is crucial and highly beneficial. Not only is it cost-effective, but it also significantly helps the environment by conserving resources and reducing landfill use. By prioritising recycling, we can minimise the environmental impact of waste, support sustainability, and contribute to a healthier planet.

Consider introducing additional charges to businesses within Medway for unrecyclable waste. To offer wider ranges of recycling such as medication blister packs, crisp packets and stationary.
