Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2024)

Representation ID: 3998

Received: 08/09/2024

Respondent: Mr Gary Foord

Representation Summary:

I want to see clear info-graphics to help better visualise data & form opinion. What does not seem clear is existing land usage compared to planned land usage. Medway Council must know how every square foot of land is used by category, from residential, business, parks, health service, etc. I want to see clear map of land usage, then stats for % of land use by category & key ratios of categories by region or ward. IE, in Rainham, what is ratio of residential properties to healthcare services by capacity or area, & how do future plans compare.

Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2024)

Representation ID: 4066

Received: 08/09/2024

Respondent: Mr Lewis Marshall

Representation Summary:

When considering development of greenfield sites, we will not produce a modal shift away from car-based travel without significant investment in public transport beyond buses. Medway is well placed to allow inhabitants many opportunities but they cannot all be provided on the doorstep.
