well-meaning idea, awful location, awful name. If these types of offices and industries occupied the land where the medway city estate is, along with attractive riverside flats, then businesses from London could consider some relocation there.
High value industries do not just require offices. They need to attract high value employees to live nearby.

Comment made previously. IPM may be near BaE Systems but there are better places. IPM is not readily accessible by Public Transport as much as it should be

"A pause and review" yet the Council remains committed to the delivery of high-quality employment at IPM. How can an effective review take place if the council still holds a one sided view. It may not be appropriate to continue with this vision. Again it is difficult to understand why the council wishes to push forward with this and try and create new jobs, when exiting jobs at Chatham Docks are at risk due to the change of land designation.

I disagree with the assertion that Innovation Park Medway is ideally suited for high-value technology industries and collaborative spaces. The focus on high-tech companies and advanced industries may overlook the broader needs of the local community and economy. This approach could exacerbate regional inequalities, as the high-tech sector might not provide sufficient employment opportunities for all skill levels or address the diverse economic needs of the area. A more inclusive strategy that balances high-tech development with support for a range of industries and local businesses could better serve the community and foster broader economic growth.
