I would like to see planning applications approved for back garden developments in rural areas eg Hoo Peninsula similar to that given in villages.
Also, I note that applications for individual homes are turned down in The Peninsula for 'sustainability' reasons and yet developer schemes close by are given the go ahead when placed before Committee against advice from the planning officer tasked with the application eg, Hollies & Toilers Croft on Sharnal St both on the Peninsula - a clear inconsistancy.
