Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2024)
Policy S21: Rainham District Centre
Representation ID: 2062
Received: 26/08/2024
Respondent: Mr Cllr George Perfect
It would be great to work with future tenants to further drive regeneration of Rainham town centre. People want to see the Healthy Living Centre used and maximised, as well as empty units such as NatWest. Rainham Town Centre will need substantial public realm upgrades by 2041, and there needs to be far more ambition and funds delivered through S106 of nearby developments to rejuvenate the public realm and environment.
