Help for the youth and elderly in Medway
As Medway has one of the highest anti social areas in the South East can some consideration be given to the use of unused shop premises. These could be made into pop in centres for both young people and retired residents. This could provide contact with youth services to guide the younger generation in the right direction. Perhaps some pensioners could be there to impart their wisdom to youngsters and this is twofold as it would give pensioners a sense of purpose and cut down in their need for social help ?
Could not out of use department stores be used for affordable housing ?

As a resident of Gillingham all of my life I enjoy the green spaces I.e Riverside country park. There are a vast amount of native habitat and mammals co existing with ever increasing traffic. Please please consider our green spaces I want my grandchildren to be able to continue fishing and watching wildlife during the school holidays. I do not want them to risk their lives trying to cross a lower Rainham road that is getting increasingly dangerous. Will someone from the council come and observe the chaos on a daily basis

I believe in old fashioned trades being encouraged. I know we live in a world of technology but the basic skills needed to build new homes is being lost There is a vast amount of land in Chatham riverside that could used for young people to be trained in these skills.

I am of an age where I might consider giving up my car. This I have had to put on hold as the local bus service is not fit for purpose I have been let down on numerous occasions with an unreliable service. Admittedly I use my bus pass but if this was withdrawn I would be one of many pensioners stuck at home. This has knock on effect as being lonely has its own problems which in turn leads to health issues putting pressure on our local NHS

[REDACTED] I have always been under the impression that land adjacent to river along Lower Rainham Road was considered “to be on a flood plain”. I am therefore surprised to see plots of land for sale with planning permission along this stretch of road.
