Supporting people to lead healthy lives and strengthening our communities
Representation ID: 2049
Received: 25/08/2024

maybe look at the woeful state of Deangate sports Complex hardly encouraging healthy lifestyles
to strength communities you must first earn their trust, something that is lacking on the Peninsula
how does disproportionate growth both housing and industry in one area ie Hoo support people to lead healthy lives
the loss of high grade farming land leads to food shortages and further on food poverty as well as destroying urban communities

do you think that proposed mass housing planned around Hoo could and probably will substantial harm the viability of both Kingsnorth and Grain when the council already recognise the A228 is operating over capacity, bussiness need to be able meet deadlines and trust in transport links to and from there base

quality development is severely lacking with the major housing builders
in one option over 40% of housing allocated to Hoo hardly boosting pride more like causing harm to the rural economy

Policy S1: Planning for Climate Change
Representation ID: 2054
Received: 25/08/2024
Respondent: Ward Councillor Peninsula ward
no plan for rising sea levels
the introduction of mass housing on the peninsula will increase the risk of human activity on the ecosystems
increased traffic both private and commercial will impact an already dangerous Air Quality situation here on the peninsula that coupled with a very poor public transport which encourages private car use can only add to this situation
