I think this is important, as once lost, these sites will be difficult to replicate. I hope this safeguarding will include the facilities at Chatham Docks given their locks differentiate them from other shipping infrastructure.

The use of truly brownfield sites that are closed or derelict is positive. It's a shame that functioning business areas like Chatham Docks are categorised as brownfield. It is regrettable that we cannot have an SGO 3 that safeguards the maritime nature of the businesses at Chatham Docks.
