I know that Southern water have made, previous, objections re development and the water table. Given that we do have flood issues on Hempstead Road, how will you ensure that this will not become a more generalised problem?

Previously, ALL, new developments in Medway have promised affordable housing, BUT they all went to London Boroughs. Where is the advantage to Medway residents? How can you ensure that the same will not happen with this development? One of your selling points is homes for medway residents….this will not be the case!

As with my previous comment…how can you ensure that the affordable homes come to Medway and not the London Boroughs?

Medway’s infrastructure is not adequate for the needs of this development. Our hospital has nowhere to expand to, regardless of any monies that the developer puts towards medical services. How will Medway ensure that medical services are not stretched to breaking point? Additionally, we do not have enough GPs or GP services……building a surgery will only reiterate the inadequacy….this will be have a detrimental effect on the residents of Medway…..how will you mitigate against that?

The roads that pass those areas are inadequate, at the least, one lane wide. Will the road be widened to two lanes and how will you do that without causing issues to the other residents of Ham Lane? Secondly, the ransom strip road, between Gibraltar Farm and Lordswood, will this be given over to alleviate traffic through Lidsing and Hempstead?
