I reject the need for this amount of extra housing. If Sadiq Khan can reject his quota, why can't Medway? How can you guarantee that the new houses will be for local residents? How many of the new houses on Otterham Quay Lane were taken up by Medway residents. The pressure on local infrastructure has not been addressed. Medway Hospital is already stretched to breaking point. Congestion on the roads is atrocious. You say Medway population is growing - only because of the constant house building!
