My comments are specific to Land West of Strood Concept Plan for 4000 homes. The proposed access roads for the site are Stonehorse Lane, Strode Close and Gravesend Road, with access to Strood via Gravesend Road Cliffe Road and Watling Street. These roads are already at capacity, with parked cars creating major constrictions.
The land between Stonehouse land and Gravesend Road has a major gas main and oil line running through it. The gas must create a safety issue.
I would question the likelihood of 4000 house being fully taken up.
