It is worth noting here or elsewhere that we will also be producing a new Playing Pitch Strategy and Built Facilities Strategy in 2025/26 and this will be part funded by Sport England.

We also have the Local Football Facility Plan for Medway which was recently updated in spring 2025 by The Football Foundation and Kent FA. This plan highlights ancillary and infrastructure needs/improvements to support football in Medway. A big highlight of this document is the need for 8 new full size 3G pitches in Medway to help address the current/estimated growth shortfall. Football Foundation funding will support this.
