7.5.1

Representation ID: 4958

Received: 11/08/2025

Respondent: Ms Karen Scott

Representation Summary:

Please, please address the lack of technical, digital skills education at Level 4 and above, other than in universities. This is really limiting where three years at university is not an option for a young person, and there are few, if any higher level apprenticeships available in the area.

7.5.3

Representation ID: 4959

Received: 11/08/2025

Respondent: Ms Karen Scott

Representation Summary:

But there is no current provision for Higher National Diploma or Certificate qualifications, especially in digital subjects. This limits career progression opportunities for many.

Support for this type of education should come sooner rather than later to ensure that the number of generations who have missed out is minimised.

6.4.23

Representation ID: 4960

Received: 11/08/2025

Respondent: Ms Karen Scott

Representation Summary:

Given that 66.8% of Medway's housing is under-occupied, priority for homes that attract people out of under-occupancy and into homes for life, where they can be cared for in their own homes, however long it takes for them to get to that point, should be top priority and not a provision in a sea of other housing. Every household that downsizes leaves a home of a decent size for a family.
