I have been a development panel member and have attended the meetings and absorbed all the information. I have sympathy for the planners but I fear the plan cannot work due to connectivity. The existing traffic system is at breaking point morning and evening with lengthy queues on the A289 and A228. To add to this carnage with hundreds of homes and even more commercial traffic due to the proposed closure of M.C.Estate is madness. One arterial road serving the whole peninsular at present is overloaded and dangerous, adding more traffic is beyond comprehension, another route is required.
