Whilst the preparatory work has included a strategic transport assessment the council has conducted neither an air quality impact assessment or and equalities impact assessment. The developments already being proposed for Rainham of 750 houses, two schools and no extra curricular support for the extra young people (and at the expense of over 20,000 trees) which provide the the “ lungs of Rainham “ are an example of the concentration of development at to damage the health and cultural heritage of Rainham - this isn’t a plan it’s a sacrifice.
