Chapter 6 – Housing – sets

Representation ID: 4337

Received: 01/07/2025

Respondent: Mr Alastair Blair

Legally compliant? No

Sound? No

Duty to co-operate? No

Representation Summary:

The proposals for housing ignores the need for better infrastructure. Developers positively shy away from infrastructure improvements because it costs them money. There is too much reliance on existing roads with mythical assessments on volumes.

The expansive development of Lidsing, Gibraltar Farm Mil Fields and East Hill has no real coordinated plan and the use of existing roads will only lead to huge congestion.
