Medway Local Plan 2041 - Supporting Evidence Documents
Introduction
Independent planning inspectors, appointed to conduct the Medway Local Plan 2041 Examination, have asked Medway Council to carry out a further public consultation.
The majority of documents in this consultation were available at the Regulation 19 stage during the summer of 2025, but they were subsequently updated based on the latest information that was available before the Local Plan was submitted for examination.
In addition, some documents were unavailable at publication stage (Regulation 19, June 2025), but comprised part of submission stage (Regulation 22, December 2025).
Finally, four new documents have been produced since the submission stage (Regulation 22, December 2025).

This public consultation will close at 23:59 on 6 July 2026.

Previous iterations of these documents were available in June 2025 (Regulation 19) when the council invited comments on the plan, but were updated in December 2025 and published in the examination library with the submission of the plan (Regulation 22)
