By developing in these areas, it will put increased pressure on an already struggling Medway hospital and local GP surgeries and medical centres. The areas planned for development already provide beautiful places to enjoy walks in nature, which my family and I benefit from. To destroy the nature that’s already there seems illogical. As with retail, there are already shopping centres (Dockside, Pentagon, Hempstead Valley) with empty units, surely it would be better to fill these up before creating any more retail spaces that could end up staying empty
