Support moves to provide choice and a mix of homes, particularly custom and self-build housing. The Plan should ensure that some smaller sites are allocated for growth to give local construction companies the chance to provide good quality, well designed and sustainable homes as alternatives to large scale uniform estates built by one national developer.
