The recent developments in Hoo St Werburgh have bene addressing the housing issue for south east London and not local medway residents. On the development that have been built over the last 15 years, 70% of the new hosing has been taken up by people move from London to Hoo St Werburgh, in that time the public transport has been reduced and has lead to high motor vehicle usage on the A228. As well as address future needs, the local plan needs to address the lack of infrastructure that there currently is on the Hoo Peninsula.
