The proposed developments in Allhallows and Fenn Street starkly contradict the policy aims. They threaten high-grade agricultural land, create excessive traffic on unsuitable rural roads, and are not in scale with the rural surroundings. These developments also risk undermining key rural services and facilities, lack high-quality architectural design, and fail to respect the character of the area. Additionally, they do not adequately address potential harm to residential amenity, designated heritage assets, or environmental resources and biodiversity. The plans neglect to provide sufficient measures to mitigate environmental impacts, undermining the sustainability and integrity of the rural community. Put this into practice!
