Medway Council must conduct thorough impact assessments and genuinely consult with the local community rather than relying on inadequate reports. The current approach often seems disconnected from the real issues facing Medway, resulting in decisions that do not reflect local needs or concerns. To ensure effective and beneficial development, the Council needs to improve its engagement with residents and address their feedback seriously. Proper consultation and accurate assessments are essential for making informed decisions that genuinely benefit the community and address the true needs of the area.
