As set out in our representations to the Regulation 18 Consultation, our client generally supports the overall approach and objective of the Policy. However, the Policy requires applications to demonstrate that the proposal meets a proven need for the particular type of accommodation. The Policy and / or the supporting text should provide further clarity in terms of the format which this will be required for an application.
