Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2023)

Prepared for a sustainable and green future

Representation ID: 856

Received: 28/10/2023

Respondent: Mr Clive Chester

Representation Summary:

The council do not seem to care about green spaces by allowing more and more houses to be built on the Hoo peninsula with no new infrastructure being installed eg no new domestic water supply, no new sewage or drainage systems and worst of all no new road system as it is a well known fact that the A228 on the peninsula is over capacity now so why make it worse.

Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2023)

Boost pride in Medway through quality and resilient development

Representation ID: 858

Received: 28/10/2023

Respondent: Mr Clive Chester

Representation Summary:

Medway has gone downhill ever since the Dockyard closed 40 years ago and whichever Council has been in power since has done nothing to try and regain the sense of community from that time. Chatham and Gillingham are a former shadow of what they used to be and not very nice places to visit now. We also have London boroughs being allowed to dump their homeless families in Medway and the Council do not seem to care about our own local families that need housing.
