Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2023)

5.36

Representation ID: 465

Received: 16/10/2023

Respondent: Ms Faye Hollingdale

Representation Summary:

There is a large amount of so called available land for development on the Hoo Peninsula, you will ruin our wildlife and the reason that the rest of the people in the villages live here, to be rural! In a time where our environment, wildlife hangs in the balance this is a disgrace to have so much land turned into housing! There are plenty of other spaces around Medway, leave our Peninsula and it's wildlife in peace!

Public transport is more limited, it is awful! We have one road in and one road out! Unless this is drastically changed it will be impossible for people to move around the peninsula.

Received: 16/10/2023

Respondent: Ms Faye Hollingdale

Representation Summary:

This needs a massive overhaul! We have trouble getting in, around and out of the Peninsula as it is, let alone building 12000 more homes. This needs some serious investment to make it viable.

Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2023)

5.36

Representation ID: 468

Received: 16/10/2023

Respondent: Ms Faye Hollingdale

Representation Summary:

So very sad that Medway Council has no consideration for the environment and wildlife, you will kill this area with all the sites and amount of homes you want to build. Our children are going to grow up in a world with no wildlife and live in concrete jungle, the world is in serious decline around the environment and wildlife and England has the worst history of environmental declines in the world. I am so sadden that in 50 years time my children and grandchildren will be facing more impending doom.
