The protection of areas already designated as Green Belt is vital. Section 4 of the public consultation document indicates the Greenbelt Area and Greenbelt Sites. Section 5.50 reinforces the need to protect these areas from development
Part of one of the Greenbelt sites is in Bush Valley. This area was included as part of a Public Inquiry, relating to possible development,
which was held in Rochester in March this year . The Planning Inspectors decision, was that the proposed development should not be permitted. Much of the evidence related to the designations of Greenbelt and AONB which apply there
