I am strongly against this plan. I understand the need for more housing.
However, it is so ignorant to address how Medway has a clear strategy for climate change and how it has a wonderful countryside, to then plan to destroy native wildlife and countryside trails. How can Medway be a city which addresses climate change when you want to cover its wildflower fields and elegant native forests with tonnes of concrete? For every 1kg of concrete produced, 0.9kg of CO2 is released. There are other issues in Medway which first need to be addressed, not this.
