As suggested here, car ownership is high in this area due to lack of access to sufficient public transport, employment opportunities and secondary/higher education. Residents have no choice but to drive everywhere. Existing road & community infrastructure is insufficient to support current residents. Local plan would need to prioritise the local infrastructure first before considering new houses in these areas.
