Thoroughly disagree that there are "Improved travel choices and infrastructure [that] have reduced the use of the car across Medway". Traffic is terrible, the main roads are fit to bursting and this is compounded by poorly planned roadworks on already under-maintained roads.
How can you even begin to mention "Medway's farmland" when your plans suggest you intend to build on a large proportion of it.

How can you address a climate emergency when you plan to build on the 'green lung' that is Medway's farmland and semi-rural areas?!

The best way to support the people of Medway in leading healthy lives is ensuring they have access to healthcare services. There are not enough GPs in the area to accommodate the population, and we are desperately in need of another hospital - Medway Maritime hospital is on its knees and cannot cope with the current level of demand let alone when you add an extra 29000 houses into the equation.

The areas identified on the plan around Rainham are implausible! As mentioned these are areas which give an important 'green lung' to an otherwise extensively built up area, plus having the added benefit of being versatile farmland - it would be absolutely crazy to concrete over this to build houses.
Not to mention that the proposed location falls between 2 notoriously congested roads (A2 and Lower Rainham Road) the latter not being suitable for the level of development planned. There is also no ability to make improvements to the road network due to existing housing.

You can't keep building housing on green field sites and preaching about improved transport infrastructure when you give the green-light to developers who pack in as many houses as possible without local amenities such as convenience shops, services, healthcare. This forces people to get in a car and travel.
Building on any green field site should be an absolute last resort - especially given you mention we are in a "climate emergency".
