Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2023)

Supporting people to lead healthy lives and strengthening our communities

Representation ID: 830

Received: 27/10/2023

Respondent: Mr Brian McDonald

Representation Summary:

Please respect and protect the AONB & Green Belt area around Upper Bush. The recent Winery fiasco with the head of planning and subsequent rejection by planning inspectorate would suggest MC should avoid development on this area of land. The community have spoken, the PI supports the community but MC appears not to. Get a grip.

5.10

Representation ID: 831

Received: 27/10/2023

Respondent: Mr Brian McDonald

Representation Summary:

Please avoid diluting or undermining protected landscapes and sites. The AONB, countryside and waterways are assets of importance for well being, sense of place, and key to securing investment. Don’t trash these in the rush to secure targets or from brown nosing billionaires.

Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2023)

5.11

Representation ID: 832

Received: 27/10/2023

Respondent: Mr Brian McDonald

Representation Summary:

Don’t build on protected sites or green belt in open countryside. Countryside between Gravesham and Medway is both a green lung for the surrounding area and it’s most attractive feature- don’t spoil this for future generations.

5.53

Representation ID: 833

Received: 27/10/2023

Respondent: Mr Brian McDonald

Representation Summary:

The recent decision from the planning inspectorate regarding the inappropriate winery development should be heeded. Inclusion of this area in the draft local plan is an insult to due process and the local community and appears vindictive and vexatious.
