There was a planning application in March 2023 and the panning inspector stated that the effects on the area were key issues which would prevent the site being considered for development ANOB land has the highest protection and BNE32 the local plan2003 said that any development should protect the beauty, cultural heritage and wildlife. This site is one that we need to protect

The development of over 1000 properties in this area would have an adverse affect in the North Downs Way and ancient woodland regarding noise, landscape and light pollution there are exiting problems of traffic through Halling and Cuxton to the M2 this development must be a lot smaller. A

This is very scary to seethe predicted Impact of the LTC on Medway. Increases in traffic flow, air quality,noise and vibration are to increase significantly. Are we in the project area and who do we contact regarding funds for mediation on the impact.

Significant infrastructure improvements would be required as we already on the Bush Road
/A228 is a problem and we cannot have traffic lights here. As housing and commercial traffic increases this situation will only get worse with any infrastructure improvements be8ng made.

This sound great, but willl be a challenge to fulfill as it is cheaper to use greenfield sites rather than brownfield. A string strategy is required to make sure that growth is in the most suitable locations

The tourism aspect must show how it will benefit the local economy, as in the recent winery application for a winery and visitors centre at Cuxton was initially approved but then turned down. There was no evidence supplied to show that visitors would spend money outside the winery so tourism would only benefit the winery. The sites of these is Important if tourism is to support the local economy,
