Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2023)

The plan's vision is to

Representation ID: 1642

Received: 31/10/2023

Respondent: Mrs Josephine Brown

Representation Summary:

Having lived in Medway for 53 years I can only say planning continues to be appalling.
Cliffe Woods is a prime example as good quality agricultural land is right now being concreted over with hundreds of houses -with no improvement to infrastructure.
Sacrificing the Hoo peninsula to appease east Medway councillors is scandalous.
The blog sent yesterday about planning summed up the dismal depths to which Medway has sunk.
Where is tree planting, hedgerows, wildflower meadows and help for wildlife ? Endangered hedgehogs and cuckoos gone already !
We are living in
Concrete Kent not the Garden of England.
