The plan's vision is to

Representation ID: 1645

Received: 31/10/2023

Respondent: Mrs Lynn Smail

Representation Summary:

Your plan seems to involve not ‘Connecting Medway to the surrounding countryside’ but building houses on the surrounding countryside like Capstone and flattening the rest under tarmac because the infrastructure isn’t already there. Definitely NOT ‘green’, in fact the opposite. More cars, more pollution, fewer trees and green spaces, less wildlife. That won’t help climate change. Build on all brown sites first and regenerate the struggling high streets by turning some shops and the spaces above them into housing rather than endless pound shops and charity shops, the infrastructure is already there.
