Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) across the peninsula, which are of national importance. The coastal marshes and mudflats and areas of woodland shape the distinctive character and feel of the peninsula. These landscapes are valued for their sense of place and remoteness, all the more special, given their proximity to urban Medway and must be protected at all costs.

Before anything is approved for building, a comprehensive road instructure plan must be fully funded and be consulted on .So we know exactly what is needed to serve any new housing how ever small is put in place before any housing is built.
