We are strongly opposed to the plan to consider for possible housing development our local beauty spot, Darland Banks and the surrounding agriculture which is marked HW1 on the Medway Local Plan suburban expansion sites map.
Although this area is small in extent, the rolling nature of the landscape gives it the feel of deep countryside. It is a place where people can come to relax and enjoy the nature.
Any Development of this area for housing would destroy the natural beauty of the area and its value as a place of recreation for local residents and visitors.
