I have resided nearby and worked for more than a decade, at Kentwire on Chatham docks. It has been a great privilege to have been involved in some amazing infrastructure projects all over the country, and overseas, all delivered for this unique site. The work of my colleagues is skilled, productive, forward thinking, and in this time of climate crisis the site has very favourable attributes for logistics.
I urge you to maintain support for the site in its current use, and the balance of working and living it provides to the area.
