Policy DM17: Grain Branch

Representation ID: 3090

Received: 07/09/2024

Respondent: St James, Isle of Grain, Parish Council

Representation Summary:

It is important that the proposal to create a station a Sharnal Street is implemented urgently because train accessibility for journeys to London or the coast are poor for people with limited transport.

Whilst a passenger service extending to Grain sounds a good idea, the geography and geology of the area will not sustain this and people will still use their own transport.
