Medway Local Plan (Regulation 18, 2024)

Prepared for a sustainable and green future

Representation ID: 3443

Received: 08/09/2024

Respondent: Mr John Williams

Representation Summary:

I think building on the peninsula would be adding to pollution as the area is reliant on cars for transport.
Also any large amounts of building on the peninsula must cause harm to the environment and affect the
Protected SSSIs and other international known areas of environmental and scientific importance.
Not sure that will enhance our carbon footprint.

Representation ID: 3467

Received: 08/09/2024

Respondent: Mr John Williams

Representation Summary:

any building or development goes ahead to have the least impact on local communties.
All brownfield and urban sites must be exhausted before we even look at building on any greenfield or green belt land.
I am all for green energy technology and efficient building construction.
But it comes to building the right type for house in the area and quality not quantity .
