I am all in favour of controlling noise, with the exception of people who go to live in a high street and then complain about live music being too loud on a Friday or Saturday night. We could do with a thriving nightlife economy.

We are building far too many flats ( over 50%) This is not good for children and families which Medway has always been strong on. The family friendly promotion is a sham when compared to this vital statistic.

PeeL PORTS ARE predatory developers buy ports, claim they "unviable "seek change of planning . should not allowed determine that site "unviable" will make up data. they did on job creation by double counting. docks companies provide valuable contribution Medway . they need to know the site remains site for employment not" mixed use " sophistry.
Peel likely take many years to develop site and ask for government handouts and to build large numbers of family unfriendly flats. This will not be a St Mary's Island mark 2, but a high rise dystopian landscape if it ever comes to pass,

this will be very difficult if the policy is " It does not conflict with other policies in this plan." some balance is needed otherwise there will always be valid objections.

I am worried that the independent shops will be crowded out in favour of convenience stores. Priority should be for independent shops and leisure rather than convenience, and no more take aways please.
