Agree totally we must protect these areas for the benefit of future generations, it was highlighted during covid how important green spaces were and with more development it is paramount that all green space and National Landscapes are not built upon for commercial gain.

Policy S6: Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Landscape

It is extremely important that these areas are retained for the benefit of all to enjoy and should not be used for the benefit of the few or for financial gain. Medway has a very small area of National Landscape compared to other boroughs and it is therefore extremely important that this should not be destroyed. Given the population within Medway these areas will be of extreme importantance in maintaining the well being of its people, both young and old.

As with National Landscapes these areas should be fully proptected, with a population within Medway that is nearly twice the size of any other council in Kent it is extremely important that such areas in Medway should not be developed upon as such action only lines the pockets of the few and will have a material adverse impact on the vast majority.
