Any more development in Rainham would lead to complete grid lock! Did anybody ever consider Lower Rainham Road when granting planning permission previously?

I do believe there could be some development on the Hoo Peninsula as there appears to be more land and opportunities to improve the infrastructure. However, these could be smaller developments, not some of the massive sites proposed. Chatham Lodge could be developed as it is currently just left a derelict site.

Before any further consideration is given to development of office space, existing office space needs to be employed. Places like Mountbatten House need to be used and there are plenty of unused offices in the dockside area. The alternative is to knock down Mountbatten House and develop the area for a useful purpose. Another area that needs development is the old Chatham bus station.
