I agree with the Vision 2024 aims. It is important that the Local Plan does all it can to reduce carbon emissions, improve public transport links (especially to the country parks) and make walking and cycling more enjoyable ways of getting around.

I agree with these objectives. I think the Plan needs to emphasis the importance of the river to the local community, and do more to develop a sense of place for each of the towns and villages that make up Medway.

I think that the Local Plan should be written using the government's current housing targets to avoid delaying the plan. There should be a "buffer" amount of new housing provision above this amount in case the government changes its guidance and asks Medway to have more housing than the 1667 per annum currently planned.
