Medway has a lot going for it in terms of existing infrastructure, Rochester airport is certainly one of them which needs to be maintained in order to encourage investment and connections to the area.

The retention of iconic sites in the area is important for a sense of what a place was and could be. The gasometer near The Strand is a well known site for local people. A development similar to that of Gasholder Park near Kings Cross in London is a good example of what can be done to keep the heritage whilst addressing the problem of housing.

This is incredibly important and all new development should incorporate this as standard. Those new developments already built which don't conform should be looked at in order to improve the area for all residents by reducing road traffic.
